Vamos a descubrirte las principales playas que puedes descubrir desde la ciudad de Málaga, muy recomendables para disfrutar de un baño y sus vistas, lugares de visita obligada si visitas los apartamentos de iloftmalaga durante los meses veraniegos.

Guadalmar Beach

This beach is located near Playa de San Julián, next to the Guadalmar golf course.

It is formed by sediments from the Guadalhorce riverbed and is the only nudist beach in Málaga capital.

You will find a beach with little traffic due to the fact that transport access is complex.

Misericordia Beach

It is one of the most popular and crowded beaches in Malaga, located in the west side of the capital. Walking through the maritime area you will be able to see the industrial manufacturing chimneys from the 19th century.

It is ideal to sit with your family and watch the sunset in one of the magnificent beach bars in the area.

In addition, you can access this 2,000-meter-long beach in a very simple way, since it is located 15 minutes away from the historic center of the city.

La Caleta Beach

If you love water sports, this is your beach. It has sport areas (surfing, fishing, jet skiing, beach volleyball, running, machines…) with easy accessibility.

It is located between Playa de la Malagueta and Baños del Carmen, a very central and luxurious area.

Malagueta Beach

La Malagueta is the city’s beach par excellence. It is the closest to the historic center, located next to the Farola de Málaga.

You will be able to access endless leisure offers including restaurants, beach bars, children’s play areas, sports equipment stores and pubs, especially during holiday periods or weekends.

San Julian Golf Course Beach

It is the largest beach in Malaga, water activities lovers, such as kitesurfing, tend to frequent it.

It is located just behind the golf course and stands out for its gentle waves, practically perfect for bathers throughout the year.

Carmen Spa

Unlike the rest of the beaches, this one is so small that, year after year, it requires new sand to be added. This is because in winter, with rains and storms, the water level rises and part of its width disappears.

It is a more exclusive place, not usually frequented, so there are no shops or entertainment, but you will find peace and tranquility.

San Andres Beach

A historical event dating from 1831 took place on this beach, when General Torrijos and Boyd were executed, as well as other revolutionaries of the time. You can visit the obelisk in honor of Torrijos in the Plaza de la Merced in commemoration of him.

It is a highly recommended area for families: it has a children’s area, landscaped and green areas, beach bars and restaurants. Of course, you cannot leave without making a reservation at one of the wonderful seafood restaurants in the area.
