Another of the most striking moments of Malaga Easter Week is the release of a prisoner without blood crime by OUR FATHER JESUS the Rich on Holy Wednesday. This tradition goes back to a privilege granted by CARLOS III, in gratitude to the prisoners who took to the shoulders to Christ to lack of faithful by the cholera epidemic in Malaga and, after the procession all returned, without taking advantage of the occasion to escape.
