In medieval times the city life prevailed in the main squares, where the crowds gathered and festivals, fairs and social events were held; and today, they retain the essence and the purpose of their origins.

In Malaga, we are very proud of our ancient main square dating from the fifteenth century, now known as Constitution Square, located in the historic centre.

There is no better place to experience the atmosphere of our city than to stay in one of our eight apartments and lofts located in this area, in the heart of the city, where you can feel and enjoy everything that Málaga offers to you within a short walking distance.

If we position ourselves in the middle of the square, next to the fountain of Genoa, we can see beautiful surrounding buildings among which we can point out the Old Jesuit College and the Consulate House.

In 2003, the square and the nearby Calle Marques de Larios, perhaps the most emblematic of Malaga, became pedestrian zones, and as a result this area has turned into a lively place where people walk at all hours, day and night.

It has benches to rest on and some palm trees that animate the square.

From this square you can access some highly representative streets of the city, including Larios Street, Company Street, New Street and Granada Street, where you can find many clothes, cosmetics, and handbags shops and other establishments of all kinds, very popular among locals and visitors alike.

Wander in the narrow surrounding streets and discover magical places, such as the Café de Chinitas, and traditional little vintage bars, still remaining in Malaga. In this area you can also find lots of restaurants, tapa bars, cafes, tea houses and plenty of places to have a drink at, ideal to chat with friends and have fun.

At night this area attracts both the young and the old to the crowded bars that are located around the square.
